The last days of summer are slowly dwindling away. I'm moving in on friday and then theres band camp for a week, and then school starts up again.
$600 of textbooks seems to foretell a very interesting semester... 13 books for Arts and Letters... and there not even small books either... half of them look like they're over 400, and there are at least 3 that are pushing 1000 pages... should I be worried?
A few days ago I was tinkering with matlab on my new computer... trying to recreate my complex paint program. I stumbled across Conway's Game of Life. I have since developed a fascination with cellular automata. I suspect that I shall write a program to replicate the simulation and at some point my interest will fade as I pick up something else... although a screensaver version would be pretty cool... If only I knew how to write screensavers, lol.
I also discovered Quantum Tic Tac Toe. Which has proven to be a very interesting twist on the regular game... quantum mechanics makes everything more fun.
COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO NANOWRIMO (Really, I know.)
